For a lot of parents of children who are interested in music, the last thing they want to hear from their little boy or girl is “Mummy, daddy, I want to play the harp.”
It is easy to forget, when I sit playing my modern harp, that the instrument has come a long way since the first harps were created, more than 4,500 years ago.
You are probably wondering why I talking about Valentine’s Day so early. The answer to that is: If you want to surprise that special someone with a performance by a harpist, you need to think about it early.
People are saying that we, musicians live in a different world... Well, that was my feeling today, playing in the bubble :) My world, out of all the outside noises , peaceful and fill with music! World where there is no war, no bad people.. just music. The harp and The Music!
